Its not good for buisness either way you dont want to invest time and money in people that are in it for the wrong reasons ( in any buisness).Sounds like allot of guys on here knew him from tv didnt know him for who he really was witch is too bad cuz he was a really great guy. Two way street boyd guys leave to go to chip/ chip guys leave to go to boyds. Also you would be mad if guys left to go work for your competition. Witch is a scary feeling if you think about it no choice to how your looked at, by millions if not hundreds of millions of people you dont know.TV ehhhmm (chip foose- boyd stuff) Made something small into something bigger than it needed to be and got personal doing it. The editors can put anything together they want to, to make it look how ever they want. You wouldnt watch it if it was the same stuff every time. (its just respect guys) As everyone knows or should know t.v camera guys can make you look really good or really bad. Thats personal stuff thats between the two of them.Its getting really old and i think everyone needs to leave it alone. I never asked boyd and i never asked chip. I can bet my life on this: boyd and chip went there seperate ways for there own reasons, that is bottom line people need to stop reading into it or makeing up stuff. Boyd wasnt a bad guy, he was a great guy (THE BEST KINDA GUY). He built cars that set the bar for the guy in his own garage, to the guy down the street with another shop he thought outside the box witch is hard to do ( either you got or you dont) Haters most of the time dont have it only mad because they wish they could build and see what he saw. He was an "Asome Boss" The guy is a "LEGEND" built allot of cars for allot of differnt people. You had to work and be around Boyd to understand who he was and what he was about.
